I just recently put two new tires on my Dodge Durangeo when the tread wasn’t worn. I had a nail stuck in one tire and the man said it was beyoned repair- I needed to replace it instead. He suggested putting a matching tire on to allow the tread to wear evenly. Was I a sucker or was this a legitimate sale? Also, how do protect my tires from cracking? Thanks in advance.
