The reason why I asked Is because my dog sasha Is tired of allowing the puppies to nurse. And Ive noticed they have teeth, not completely, but busting thru.. I don’t want to sale them too early.. ANd they still need their mommy

you should get them vaccinated 2 days before you sell them…

some areas have laws that you cannot sell pups until 8 weeks of age – which is a better age for small breed pups anyhow – make sure they are eating well on their own.. slowly wean from mom first… that is seperate her from them for a few hours every day..

you might want to know that most good breeders have buyers for their pups before they breed their dogs…

They are old enough to sale, and old enough to start weaning first. get them on a moistened puppy chow. when eating good, they can go. should have first shots now, which are very important to prevent disease, especially parvo. mom should not be allowed to nurse them more than 2 x a day for first 3 days, then 1 x a day for 3 days, then done.

too young. the pups can get sick in the future because they didnt get enough nutrients from the mother.
8-9 weeks is perfect, no earlier.

you need to properly wean them and it’s better socially that they go at at least 8-9 if properly weaned. social learning time for brains is after 6 wks.

6 weeks is too young. They need to stay with the litter for another 2 weeks or so.

You should wait till they are 8 weeks. That’s a good age to sell them. hope i helped = ]
