Tread wear ratings indicate how soft the rubber is, and how fast it will wear out. Racing tires might have wear ratings below 100, but a high-mileage economy tire might have a rating of 600 or more.

any kind of off road tire will wear down eventually. but they are a bit softer than road tires, thus they will go bald on a road, just a bit faster than on a trail. all terrains are of course made for either purpose. they are an ergonomically better choice. go with the all terrain tires.

yes the will wear faster. i would stick with the at’s unless you really do some hardcore wheeling. at’s ride a lot nicer too. there are lots off of brands also. there is several companies that make retreaded m/ts for cheap.
